A lot of people want to lose weight or just be more healthy. The problem is that most of them don’t really know how to do that, so they just stop eating sweets or try living vegan. But this is not the solution, there are much better ways to live a healthy life.
First of all, living vegan is not always healthy, only if you know what your body needs to survive. Secondly, to stop eating chocolate won’t solve your problem either. To live a healthy life you really have to spend time thinking about this topic before you start. I thought long and hard about how to change my habits before I started living a more healthy life. Since last December I have been living very healthy, which defenitely doesn’t mean that I don’t eat any sweets!
I am now going to tell you what I do and eat. Continue reading How to live a healthy life→
I guess everybody wants to live a healthy life. But what can we do to encourage healthy living?
One really important aspect is food. Vegetables and fruits contain important vitamins our bodies need. The perfect amount of vegetables and fruits one should eat per day are 4 to 5 portions. We have such a wide range of healthy food we can choose from and it really helps our bodies to stay fit. Of course meat and eggs and also carbohydrates are really important for our health, but only in limited amounts. Continue reading How to live a healthy life→
I’m sure you’ve heard about the different conflicts going on around the world and terrorist attacks that have happened in the last couple of months. But does that mean that we should live in fear of another war starting soon?
No! Most of the wars going on around the world are civil wars or local conflicts which of course doesn’t justify them or make them “better”. However, their impact on the whole world is much smaller than a war between nations. Why aren’t there more wars, why don’t more nations start attacking each other? Continue reading WAR IS IT OVER→
Some weeks ago I read the astonishing book “I am Malala“. After reading it I started to think about it and I decided to write a blog about women’s rights and how we can promote this idea.
So if I take the book “I am Malala“ as an example I should start by giving you some background information on her. She’s a girl, born in Afghanistan and some years ago had to move to England because she almost lost her life. This was because she was fighting for women’s rights and the Taliban didn’t want that (and still don’t) and so they shot her in the head. I think everyone has at least heard of Malala and her story, if not then you had better read this book, because I think especially for the younger generation it’s important for us to know about these brave people, who are risking their lives, to make a change in the world. Malala, she was just fifteen years old! Fifteen years, can you believe how brave this girl was/is? Continue reading We should help all women to get more rights!→
Although you might not notice it as much in some regions, gender inequality is still a huge problem that affects the entire world. As you probably know, women in the eastern countries are still widely opressed, some don’t even have the right to a proper educaton or job. Most women in the East have to cover themselves up as much as possible and if they get sexually abused it is their fault for ‘dressing provocotively’. How is that fair?
If you are reading this and live in one of the western countries you’re probably thinking I’m a total feminist and that life can’t get more equal than it already is. Well, quite frankly, you’re wrong and I’m going to tell you why. Continue reading Equality for all→
Today I’m gong to tell you why a healthy lifestyle is very important and how you can achieve healthy living.
Firstly, if you live healthy and take care of yourself you will definitely live longer. It’s been proven that people who sit inside all day long and only eat fast food have a shorter life expectancy than people who do some sports and eat healthy. Continue reading How to live healthier→
Today, I want to talk about the topic „bullying” because I think it is a very important one and I want you all to understand what problems it can cause and I want to motivate you to fight against this enormous problem.
I´m pretty sure that all of you know what bullying is, so I think there is no need to explain it. I for myself experienced a lot of bullying in primary school. Until now I still don´t know why I was bullied. After two years I decided to change school. In the new school everything went fine for me, I was even popular and I had a lot of friends. I was not the one who got bullied anymore, but there was this other girl called Selina who had to go through hell. As stupid as I was, I did not even try to help her or to be friends with her, no I was one of the bullies. I knew what it felt like to bullied, what pain and struggle it is but I was afraid that it could happen to me again so I followed the crowd. Now I regret what I did, I really do! My message after all these experiences is to treat people the way you want to be treated yourself. Continue reading Bullying→
First, I want to give you some basic information about death penalty and afterwards I will give you my personal opinion.
The death penalty, also called capital punishment, is when a government or state executes someone, because they have committed a serious crime. Executions have become rarer in recent years but still a third of the world´s countries have laws that allow capital punishment (e.g Japan, China, Iran, United States, Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, India, Singapur, Indonesia, Thailand etc.) Continue reading Death Penalty→
I think a lot of you have heard about the Ebola virus, but where does it come from, how is it transmitted and what effects does the illness have?
Ebola virus disease (EVD), also known as Ebola hemorrhagic fever, is a severe illness in humans and animals. It first appeared in 1976 in a region near to the Ebola River giving the disease its name. The biggest epidemic of Ebola started in the end of 2013 in West Africa, more precise in Guinea. From there it spread to Liberia, Sierra Leona, Mali, Nigeria and other West African countries. The epidemic was going on for over two years causing a high death toll of 11325.
To make your own music can mean a lot of things. Whether you are a professional piano player or just hit a beat on your desk in school. At the end it is all more or less the same. You’re creating something yourself. It can be stored by writing it down or it just lasts for a short period of time. Either of those have their advantages, but in both ways you will really enjoy it. To get started you can get yourself a little drum. It’s available on the internet and not at all expensive. Just put on some music and let the rest happen by itself.
I for myself, play the drums. For me it is perfect instrument, because I’m more the rhythm kind of person. If you know the basics of any instrument you can really make every piece of music your own. Continue reading Making your own music→
