Today was honestly one of the best days so far here in Dublin. We started the morning with breakfast at our host family’s house. We had toast and cereal, nothing special but it was kind of cozy and the family is really nice. After that we took the bus into the city which took about an hour. It felt long but we listened to music talked and just looked out the window at the Irish countryside and little towns passing by. Our first stop in the city was St. Patrick’s Cathedral and wow that place is huge and really old. The inside was super quiet and pretty with stained glass windows and high ceilings. After that we went to a Viking museum called Dublinia and it was actually so cool. I did not think I would care much but they had Viking helmets swords ships and even some creepy sound effects like battles and shouting. I took a photo wearing a helmet and looked totally ridiculous but it was fun. Then we all went to eat lunch at a restaurant called Bambino. I got a slice of pepperoni pizza and it was so good probably one of the best I have had on the trip. After lunch we had school in the afternoon until five and it was not boring because we played funny games like quizzes and some team stuff that had us all laughing. Later we went into the city again and did some shopping. I got a little souvenir and we just walked around the streets which were full of people and music. For dinner we went to Nandos and I had a medium spicy chicken burger with fries. I was super hungry by then and it tasted amazing. After dinner we took the bus back home and now I am completely exhausted but happy. It was a packed day but definitely one we will remember for a long time.
