Arrival at the Host Families in Ireland

When we arrived in Ireland, everyone was excited and also a bit nervous. The idea of spending several days with a foreign family in another country was new and exciting for many of us. However, most worries quickly disappeared, as all the host families welcomed us very warmly and kindly. You could immediately feel the famous Irish hospitality, and most of our classmates felt comfortable right away in their temporary homes. I, was welcomed in a friendly way. My host family was nice, the house was clean and beautifully furnished, and at first glance, I felt well taken care of. Together with Emilia, with whom I stayed in the same host family, I was looking forward to a nice time with many conversations and new impressions. Arriving at the host family was an exciting moment, and it was interesting to hear how different the experiences with each host family were. All in all, being welcomed by a host family was a great new experience.
