Making your own music

To make your own music can mean a lot of things. Whether you are a professional piano player or just hit a beat on your desk in school. At the end it is all more or less the same. You’re creating something yourself. It can be stored by writing it down or it just lasts for a short period of time. Either of those have their advantages, but in both ways you will really enjoy it. To get started you can get yourself a little drum. It’s available on the internet and not at all expensive. Just put on some music and let the rest happen by itself.

I for myself, play the drums. For me it is perfect instrument, because I’m more the rhythm kind of person. If you know the basics of any instrument you can really make every piece of music your own.

When people say that they are unmusical it is never true. It just means that they haven’t found their right spot in the big and wonderful world of music. The aspect of creating something on your own is awesome. Making or listening to music awakens a feeling that nothing else can gives us.

Jamming in a band is of course a bit different to just playing notes from a sheet. You’re not alone and it is more challenging to contribute your part to the whole group. Sounding good on your own is easy to manage, but achieving this with a punch of people is more difficult to do.

Even if you sometime have to give yourself a push to practice. I can assure you that in the end it will always be worth it. If you’ve ever attended a good concert, you’ve hopefully seen what atmosphere music can create on stage just as in the audience.

I hope you are getting the hang of what I say and maybe think twice the next time you prefer watching TV instead of creating something your own that you will definitely enjoy, which is your own music.
