Dream house

Do you have a dream house where you would love to live? I am living in mine.

The house we moved into has everything I could dream of. I have a big room, but it’s not too large. It features air conditioning, large windows, and a great view. But that’s not all. Our house boasts spacious rooms designed with an open layout, so there are no cramped spaces. The large windows face our beautiful garden, enhancing the connection with nature.

Additionally, we have a sizable yard equipped with two football goals and a basketball hoop. The house is semi-on the outskirts of the city, perfectly positioned between the quieter outskirts and the bustling city center. It’s also in a tranquil area where the community is generally friendly and welcoming.

However, this doesn’t apply to everyone. Our two neighbors are the loudest people I have ever met. They are two young guys living in a house they probably inherited from their grandparents. Every Saturday between 10 PM and 4 AM, one of them hosts a home party. This wouldn’t be a problem if their houses weren’t so close. But they turn the music volume up so high that my family and I can’t sleep. Also, when their friends are heading home, they throw alcohol bottles into our garden.

This situation is very annoying, but there isn’t much we can do about it. It mostly bothers my parents because they like to go to bed early, but I also don’t think it’s okay. My parents are trying to make an agreement with them that they only party once a month, and I think they’ll agree.

But let’s see.

What about you? Are you living in your dream house? I’d love to hear about it.

Our dream house, but noisy neighbours

Moving into our new house was supposed to be perfect. It was in a nice area with a big garden and lots of space. The kids were excited to have their own rooms, and we loved the cozy living space. However, our noisy neighbours soon spoiled it.

From the start, it felt like we were living next to a construction site. They play loud music at all hours, often until late at night, disturbing our sleep and making it hard for the children to study. On weekends, there are loud parties and shouting. Even simple things like watching a movie or having a quiet dinner are often ruined by the noise.

I feel frustrated and helpless about the situation. This is supposed to be our place of refuge, but the noise is stressing us out and affecting our lives. We don’t know how to deal with it without upsetting our neighbours, but something has to be done.

How would my English friends deal with it? Any advice on how to deal with it without making it worse would be great. Do you have any suggestions as to what I should do about this problem, perhaps you have experienced it yourself?

The horror dream house

Lara F.

Did you ever have problems in your dream house? Because I have. Our neighbours are very noisy and I´ll talk about the situation and maybe you can help me.

We moved into our house 3 weeks ago. It is very big and has a gorgeous garden, which is very natural. The garden includes a lot of flowers and shrubs. You have a beautiful view from the terrace on it and by the way you can enjoy the sun and the fresh air because the house is near the forest. Nevertheless, you can quickly arrive at any shopping centers. Inside the house it’s very comfortable and big. You immediately feel comfortable.

The only problem we have is our neighbours. They make everyday party and are really loud. They often ask us if we have alcohol and that stuff. Sometimes I can’t even fall asleep and have to go to school the next morning without a good night’s sleep. My parents have enough from our neighbours and me too.

I think we should talk to them because it cannot longer go on like this and it has to stop. Do you have any ideas and what would you do in my situation?

Dream Home or Noise Nightmare

We’ve just moved into what we thought was the house of our dreams. It’s a beautiful place featuring a modern living room, a cosy kitchen, and bedrooms with large windows that let in plenty of sunlight. The backyard is perfect for me as a kid to play in and for us to have weekend barbecues.

But, there’s one major issue: Our next-door neighbors are incredibly noisy. It started with loud music playing late into the night. At first, we thought it was just a one-time party, but it soon became a regular thing. They argue loudly at all hours, and their dog barks repeatedly. On top of that, they seem to have a sleeping problem and only sleep with windows open and their TV on full volume.

My family is struggling to evade with the constant noise. It’s affecting our sleep and making it hard to enjoy our beautiful new home. I feel frustrated and helpless. We’ve tried talking to them, but they don’t seem to care about the disturbance they’re causing.

I’m reaching out to my English friends for advice. How do you deal with noisy neighbors? Any tips on handling this situation would be greatly appreciated!

Noisy neighbours nearby

Imagine you and your family decided to move into the perfect house of your dreams. That’s exactly what happened to me. But I can ensure you that it really isn’t as amazing as it sounds like. First let me give you a small description of the house. It’s a very cosy, small detached house located in the suburbs of our city with many wonderful features such as spacious rooms, an en suite bathroom and central heating. The best part about it is the huge garden it comes with. Normally I would consider such an amazing yard as a great place to relax, but unfortunately that isn’t the case. The reason for this is all the annoying people in my neighbourhood. Sometimes they just make kind of weird noises that are really loud and unpleasant. We already tried to get in contact with the local city council to complain about our neighbours’ behaviour but they haven’t responded to our request yet. Finally, I want to tell you about my personal feelings regarding this situation. On the on hand, I really like my new home because it is such a cosy place. But on the other hand, I am very annoyed by my neighbours. What would you do if you were me? Do you think I will adapt to them in the future? Please let me know what you think about my issue…

My Views on Honesty

Every child is told by its parents to tell the truth. Being truthful is actually moral in the human society. I mean, even in the ten commandments it says: You must not lie. So one could say humanity started to tell the truth right from the start, which would mean that lying would turn around this whole society. I was told that lies rip apart friends, destroy families and other bonds. That lies would destroy governments, cause the apocalypse… that lies will send you straight to hell. So let me be honest: Continue reading My Views on Honesty
